Week 2 Post: My Weekend (9/19/25) - (9/21/25)

  Friday (9/19/25) My weekend began on Friday 9/19, after Chem 1 lab ended at 1 pm but my partner and I finished our density experiment by 12:45 pm giving us about 20 minutes to spare. With that time I quickly rushed out of Edison Hall straight to my car, as I drove out of the parking lot into the highway my stomach took over my brain. Grumbling noises filled my car and the thought of Taco Bell seemed so necessary to end my hunger. While driving I figured out the best route get to the nearest Taco Bell near my house in the quickest time with less traffic in my head.  The estimated time to reach was 1:23 pm, considering I was heading into peak traffic it didn't seem so bad. Going into the drive-thru I look at the menu for a couple mins before deciding on 2 supreme crunchy tacos with refined beans, 3 supreme chalupas with black beans, a medium Baja blast (my favorite drink), and a 12 pack of Cinnabons balls. Week One Blog Post

Saturday 9/13/25 was a usual Saturday in my family. I woke up around 8:30 am but stayed in bed watching my tv shows and going on social media till 11 am. Once the clock hit 11:40 am, I got up for the day and went downstairs. After eating breakfast I had my usual chai in the kitchen with my parents, the soothing hot tea calmed my nerves for the day. At around 1:30 my friend from high school came over to my house to pick up her bday gift I forgot to give her weeks ago in August, but she did not stay that long because she had said she was experiencing symptoms of flu. The entire rest of the day I spent studying for my chem quiz on Monday. Sunday arrived and I woke up around the same time as yesterday, but today was a special day. I got ready and came downstairs to flowers and bakery goods all for me. I picked up the card next to the flowers that read “Happy Birthday Umaiza!”.
