Week 3: Weekend (9/27-9/28)
My Weekend
Friday 9/26 was my eldest brother's birthday, so my family and I had decided on dinner at home. The dish was nothing extraordinary but held dear to my brother's heart. Butter chicken was a staple in our household and something to be honest I, personally, was very sick of but my brother still had enough taste buds to fill his stomach of it.
On Saturday, I had a get to together I had to attend with my family for a new family ours had recently been acquainted with. I had been dreading going to the party simply because I knew how awkward it was going to be, but knew either way I had no way out of it. Surprisingly as the night winded down, my sister and I got along well with the other girls there with use of a board game. As I arrived in my garage heading back home from the party my best friend had FaceTime me. Telling her to give me two minutes, I rushed back into my room to talk with her. She lives all the way in Trenton which is far from my home and goes to Rutgers so we rarely see each other, but still make time to regularly check up on each other. Just routine talk about life, college, and family we wrapped up our call at midnight.
Sunday was uneventful, filled with studying and sprinkled with tik toks and checkup on instagram. I spent the day like any other weekend and prepared like any other night before school. Sad that I even I had to get up in the morning. 😢
